Aqua Lotus Honolulu offering Summer Concert Package


Aqua Lotus Honolulu, www.AquaLotus.com, recently announced a “Waikiki Aquarium Summer Concert Package” in conjunction with the Ke Kani O Ke Kai summer concert series at Waikiki Aquarium which started June 14 and goes through August 9, 2012.

“Waikiki Aquarium Summer Concert Package” starts at $245 per night and includes a beautiful room at the boutique Aqua Lotus Honolulu, Aqua insulated lunch bag and two tickets to the Ke Kani O Ke Kai concert of choice.  A limited number of packages are available per concert and a two-night minimum hotel stay is required.

Ke Kani O Ke Kai concerts take place every other Thursday at the Waikiki Aquarium and feature some of Hawaii’s most popular artists, along with a favorite local food vendor. The 2012 Ke Kani O Ke Kai schedule follows:

Food and beverage is available for purchase during each concert. 

Aquarium doors open at 5:30 p.m.  The concert begins at 7 p.m. and ends at 8:30 p.m.  Aquarium galleries remain open throughout the evening for the enjoyment of concert goers.

Concerts have open seating.  Low sand chairs and beach mats are preferred and, at the discretion of Aquarium staff, guests seated according to the height of their chairs.

Aqua named to manage The Lotus at Diamond Head

Effective July 18, 2011, Aqua Hotels & Resorts (www.aquaresorts.com), assumes management of The Lotus at Diamond Head.  The hotel will be renamed Aqua Lotus Honolulu and become part of the Aqua Boutique Collection.

One of Waikiki’s first full-service boutique hotels, the Aqua Lotus Honolulu was previously marketed as the hip “W Honolulu”.  The hotel remains stylish with beautifully appointed Asian inspired furnishings and a relaxed ambiance.  


Planned refurbishment of the guest rooms and common areas will enhance the hotel’s elegant décor and vibe.  Another feature of the renovation is the refurbishment of the restaurant space and the re-opening of a contemporary new restaurant and lounge. Renovation work is scheduled to take place during the day when guests are out exploring and enjoying Oahu.

Hotel Wailea's got new game

Hotel Wailea on Maui recently launched new amenities that definitely enhance the guest experience at this all-suite resort.

Pool Bar: The newly renovated pool bar/lounge now offers beer and wine along with a specially crafted menu from the hotel’s award-winning restaurant Capische?.  Highlights include Hawaiian Pizza with Prosciutto d’Parma and Grilled Sicilian Spice Ahi Sandwich.

New gym and spa: Hotel Wailea’s gym offers panoramic views of the Pacific ocean while exercising and free yoga classes are also available here.  Massage therapies such as the Pohaku Facial (facial massage using warmed Hawaiian stones) and the Lomi Lomi Massage (traditional Hawaiian massage using long forearm strokes) are offered at the renovated spa facility.

“The Weekend Lounge” on Fridays and Saturdays: 5-8 PM features organic martinis and live music/ DJs .
